HR FAQs
1. Is there a list of professionals available through the website who I can directly connect with for support?
We anticipated this need and depending on if you need human resources, business planning, legal or accounting resource support, please email info@StartUplloyd.com. We will be glad to connect you to one of our trusted mentors and consultants.
2. Who created the content?
The content was created by Shirley Leonard (Pinnacle Organizational Performance Solutions, Edmonton, AB; www.pinnacleperformance.ca . Shirley’s bio is located throughout the webpages at https://www.startuplloyd.com/about-the-author.
In addition to creating the content for the webpages, StartUp Lloydminster and Shirley have collaborated to design and deliver our HR Business Success workshop series (Fall 2020) (provide the link).
3. Can I use the resources in my own materials (i.e. training for my team), and how should I reference the website materials?
Yes, the created content and templates are there for your use. For example, if using a Word document created by Shirley for your own recruitment, simply open the document and save it to your computer with a new unique file name. If using a template that was sourced from the Internet, that reference information is embedded in the webpages text.
As with any material that you have not created, please reference the source as either StartUp Lloydminster website and author (Shirley Leonard), directly, using APA guidelines. The materials were created in 2020. https://www.startuplloyd.com/human-resources
4. Where will I find OHS information for the Province of Saskatchewan and the Province of Alberta?
The StartUp Lloyd webpages have provided some OHS province-specific information along with the links to the relevant Provincial Government pages. This approach enables you, the reader, to always find the most current information from the appropriate Government source.
